Following the 2009 influenza pandemic Dame Deirdre Hine was asked to conduct an independent review of the UK's response. The importance of this report is that it was used in the construction of the UK's Pandemic strategy published in 2011.

In the Table below (Part 1 of my analysis) I have broken down each recommendation in accordance with the framework. I have categories each recommendation (Part 2a) and annotated each recommendation accordingly in column 1 of the table.
